Function
Designed for use with large-lip rolled steel purlins to eliminate the need to modify steel purlin for standard C-clamp.
Material: Malleable iron with hardened steel cup point set screw and locknut
Finish: Plain or electro-galvanized
Approvals: Underwriters’ Laboratories Listed in the U.S. (UL) and Canada (CUL), and Factory Mutual Approved. Complies with Federal Specifications A-A-1192A (Type 23) and Manufacturers’ Standardization Society ANSI/MSS SP-58 (Type 23) which supersedes ANSI/MSS SP-69.
Ordering: Specify figure number and finish.
NOTE: When a torque wrench is unavailable, the setscrew should be tightened so it contacts the I-beam and then an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
